Subway Chooses Omnichannel Solution Following RFP led by CMSPI14th May 2020
Subway and its franchise owners are set to benefit from a new omnichannel partnership after finalising a Request for Proposal (RFP), managed by CMSPI’s payments experts.

The payments review and subsequent RFP project required continuous and extensive work from CMSPI’s team – with various data being gathered from multiple countries, suppliers, franchises and more to create a solid view of the baseline solutions. This allowed CMSPI to provide Subway with a superior understanding of multiple stakeholder and franchise needs, as well as to deliver a negotiation process, with many suppliers, to identify the best solution for them. The result was Subway achieving an optimal position with a supplier that can support their business needs and long-term goals across current and future payment channels.
During the RFP process, CMSPI analysed a long list of suppliers to match the capability and objective requirements of Subway, before narrowing it down to a select few. Data on the costs, capabilities, and Nexo compliance of each supplier was then provided to Subway, delivering greater visibility and enabling the merchant to make an informed decision on what was best for the system overall.
Using our unparalleled knowledge of the merchant payments industry and extensive benchmarking database, our dedicated team of payments experts were able to engage directly with suppliers and facilitate productive, in-depth discussions between them and the merchant. Through providing regular updates and engaging continuously with the client, we were able to act as an extended part of the Subway payments team – going above and beyond simply providing a service.
