CMSPI will be attending the PaymentsEd Annual Forum in Boston from July 27–29, joining industry peers for discussions on the latest developments shaping the global payments landscape. CMSPI will be participating alongside fellow advisors and merchants at the PaymentsEd Annual Forum.
As part of the program, CMSPI team members will be participating in several speaking sessions across the event:
In advance of the main forum, CMSPI will be participating in the pre-conference session on Monday, July 27 (10:00–10:50 AM), led by Callum Godwin, focusing on “Stablecoins in the Modern Payment Ecosystem” and their role in bridging traditional finance and digital asset infrastructure.
On Tuesday, July 28 (12:00–12:45 PM), Luke Derusha and Jonathan Lee will be on stage for “APMs in Disguise: What New-Generation BINs Mean for Merchant Performance.” The session will examine how BIN innovation and platform routing can influence authorisation rates, fraud exposure, and payment costs, including perspectives from Netflix.
Also on Tuesday, July 28 (1:30–2:15 PM), Abigail Dasbach and Peter Jessiman will be discussing “Auth Rates, Cost, and Competition: What’s Really Happening in the World of Debit Cards?” The discussion will explore how PINless debit is evolving across card-present and card-not-present environments, with a focus on conversion, cost, and the impact of BIN-level changes on routing and performance, alongside The Wendy’s Company.
Across all sessions, discussions will center on how payments performance is evolving and the data-driven approaches being used to better understand and optimize outcomes across the payments stack.
