About the Magazine:

Payments Intelligence is a quarterly magazine distributed by payments experts, CMSPI. It is the only publication solely focused on analyzing the payments industry from a merchants perspective – bringing you news, insight and opinion from around the globe.

In this edition, we breakdown the network fee increases merchants have suffered since the Durbin amendment was introduced. Merchants have reached a tipping point: CMSPI estimates that over half of the savings promised from the Durbin amendment have now been eroded, and an additional $570 million a year in fees is set to hit merchants in January and April this year. In our exclusive article (including analysis as seen in the Wall Street Journal) we detail the impact of these fees on the merchant community.

Featured Articles Include:

  • Litigation, Regulation, Circumvention: When Will It End for U.S. Merchants?
  • Secure Remote Commerce: The Future of eCommerce or Another Play for Market Share from EMVCo?
  • WeChat Pay and AliPay: A Model To Aspire To?
  • The True Cost of Cash For Merchants
